LucyD is really happy tonight, cos’ she has found her star! Her very own star! A guiding star. Now she’ll never be lost again …
LucyD is seating on her toadstool watching the stars as usual, when she notice one that she had never seen before. A real tiny one, just a dot at the edge of the onyx sky.
She is so surprised by this new discovery. LucyD watch the stars every night, she is sure she knows each one of them and their exact position. She can’t believe she missed out this one.
For the longest time nobody noticed it’s exsistence. But still, the tiny star blink silently in the sky, always waving it’s five points zealously, his fervid spirit unwavering, waiting for somebody to take notice of him.
"Hi there!", LucyD called out. "Hi, LucyD.", a tiny, almost inaudible voice replied. "How did you know my name? And what’s yours?". "I’m Peco and I’ve been watching you from above. I called out to you sometimes but you can’t hear me." "Oh, I’m so sorry." "It’s alright, most people can’t hear me. I just have to try till they do."
LucyD was so impressed by the tiny star. So small in size, but big in determination. Always having to try harder than the rest to get noticed – blinking faster and shining brighter with all his might.
"You’re the only one who spotted me, why don’t you let me be your guide?", says Peco. And this is how their unique friendship begins.
From hence on, Peco has always been by LucyD’s side, following her, guiding her, accompanying her and watching over her. He follows LucyD to anywhere in the world. And on cloudy days where Peco is obscured by the fluffy curtain, LucyD knows that Peco is still there for her. LucyD only have to look into the sky to be reminded that though she is small like Peco, with determination, she can do anything. 2.34pm
